Recently, we had the incredible opportunity to support Ashgate Hospice's event, the Sparkle Night Walk, by producing 3,400 t-shirts for their participants. This annual event, held in Chesterfield on the 22nd of June, proved to be a tremendous success, raising over £220,000 for a cause close to many hearts.

Behind the Scenes: Producing the Sparkle Night Walk T-Shirts

Our team at We Do Workwear was thrilled to be part of such an impactful event. The Sparkle Night Walk is known for its vibrant and enthusiastic participants, and we wanted to ensure that the t-shirts we provided reflected that spirit. The process of producing 3,400 t-shirts was a significant undertaking, but it was a challenge we were eager to meet.

Design and Quality: The t-shirts needed to be both comfortable and cost effective, while proudly displaying the event and sponsors branding. We collaborated closely with the event organizers to create a design that would stand out and bring a sense of unity among the walkers.

Production: Once the design was finalized, our production team got to work. Using our in-house printing facility, we ensured that each t-shirt met our strict standards. The result was a batch of vibrant, comfortable t-shirts that the participants were proud to wear.

Distribution: Logistics is always a critical component of such a large order. Our team efficiently managed the distribution, ensuring that all 3,400 t-shirts were delivered and ready for the big day.

The Impact: Raising £220,000 for a Worthy Cause

The Sparkle Night Walk was more than just a charity event; it was a celebration of community spirit and the power of collective support. Seeing thousands of participants come together, all wearing the t-shirts we produced, was a humbling and inspiring sight. The funds raised, over £220,000, will go a long way in supporting the vital work of the charity.

Super early bird registration for next year’s event has opened and more than 400 people have already signed up.

Entry will be available at a reduced rate until 11th August, with the walk set to take place on 28th June 2025.
